This 300 Hours Teacher Training course is designed for intermediate and advanced practitioners. It will help take your teaching to a more powerful and in-depth level. The 300-hour yoga advanced training builds upon the fundamental concepts taught in the 200-hour TTC and deepens your understanding and practice. The 200-hour yoga course lays the foundation of yoga for the students, whereas the 300-hour course helps in constructing a beautiful structure upon it. The deeper understanding of yoga molds the personality of a person becoming an inspired teacher. It will provide you knowledge of advance yoga teaching skills.
Advanced Teacher Training program is designed for those students who have completed an approved 200 Hour Teacher Training as designated by the Yoga Alliance, USA.
Highlights and Objectives of the course
- Develop a daily practice of kriyas, asanas, pranayama, bandha, mudras, and dhyana.
- Delve deeper into Yoga Anatomy and Physiology.
- Introduction to Structural Yoga Therapy.
- Study philosophy from the classical treatises of Yoga (Bhaghavad Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hathayoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samhita and the Upanishads).
- Introduction to Ayurveda and Marma Points.
- Design and teach a 90-minute asana class to your peers which incorporates these components.
- Plan and teach a 30-minute presentation to your peers regarding yoga-related topics (i.e., marma points, Ayurveda, yogic diet, anatomy, physiology, chakras, philosophy, mudras, etc.).

- Yoga Philosophy Sessions
The history and origin of Yoga with an introduction to yog sutra & yog pradipika. An introduction to six philosophies of Indian context, yogic ideas, concepts and hypotheses from ancient scriptures. - Anatomy – Physiology & Psychology of Yoga practices
General understanding of Human organism with its different systems, Emphasis of Nervous, Musculoskeletal and Respiratory system, Role of immunity and the practices to enhance its functioning and Benefits and contraindications of Yoga practices. - Asana Sessions
Hatha yoga postures with alignment, adjustments and modifications, Sanskrit Terms, Benefits and Contraindications of Asana, Use of the breath and specific bodily gestures, Study and practice of different styles of Sun-salutations & Study and practice of different flow sequences - Pranayama
Breathing techniques to improve the respiratory functioning which in turn improves the functioning of all the systems, Natural breath – slow, rhythmic and diaphragmatic, Breath regulation for stress related problems, Importance of Kumbhak/breath retention and its applications. - Mantra Sessions
Mantras with their respective voice modulations and lately this grows as the complete transformation or Self-realization to awaken hidden aspects of human organism. - Meditation Sessions
Self-observation many levels either guided or by self, Learning the skill how to guide students, Connection between breath and meditative state and Yog nidra from beginners to advance level. - Teaching Methodology
Ethical guidelines for a Yoga Teacher, Lesson plan and Sequencing of practices, Class management to the observation, Art of Demonstrations, Assistance and correction and Concept of Alignment, at all the possible levels.

Please note: In the process of evaluation and certification, discipline is a key factor. Attending all classes is mandatory. If a leave is required in case of emergency, consult the respective faculty prior to the class. Absence without leave shall be considered as an act of indiscipline, which may affect the practitioner’s studentship and certification. Any changes in the schedule shall be intimated in advance. The schedule timings keeps on changing according to the seasons.

General Rules
- Silence should be maintained between 10 PM until the morning.
- Regular home work should be completed.
- All classes are mandatory to attend unless you are ill.
- As a part of the evaluation procedure there will be an assessment for certification.
- SRI reserves the right to disqualify any students at anytime during the course for misconduct.
- Eating and drinking (anything other than water) is NOT ALLOWED in the yoga halls.
- Use of electronic gadgets (i.e., mobile phones, laptops, tablets) during lectures is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
- During asana practice leave all jewelry, books, extra clothing, book bags and purses in your room. Only yoga mat and water bottles permitted in yoga hall.
- Management expects all students to clear your practice space immediately following your practices.
