Sameer Sharma Dhasmana is a being who steers clear of all labels and tags. An ardent musician, singer, poet, counselor and much more – he fills numerous roles yet rejects all tags. A conscious person who believes in honestly welcoming every aspect of life, Sameer promotes an openhearted approach towards the reality of life rather than escapism.
He hails from the village of Toli in the lap of the Himalayas, also the birthplace of Swami Rama, his grandfather, Sameer was born and raised in Gurugram. It is his love for connecting with people that inspired him to carry on the legacy of Swami Rama’s initiatives through SRI. Sameer communicates inclusion and compassion through his ideology of, “conscious, harmonious living, motivated by love and truth.”
SRI, Swami Rama Initiative has been organizing a unique gathering called ‘Eye Contact Experience’ every year since 2017 along with a number of other projects both locally and worldwide. ‘Intention’ is a key word in Sameer’s vocabulary defining his approach towards everything.
Neither a swami, nor a guru himself, he strongly believes that questioning and meditation are the source of all knowledge (Gyan). What happens if we embrace all and surrender to the absolute? What is truth and does it have any definition? While probing these and many such questions consciously, he instills responsibility towards self, and others, using Honesty as the seed thought. His heart lies firmly in music; hence it is no surprise that along with spiritual counseling, Sameer has aligned himself with Nada Yoga.
